I'm 29 years old and married to my high school sweetheart since 2004. We live in a small town in MN. I get excited about living self sufficiently, growing our own food and making things from scratch. I work part time for the post office but am mostly a stay at home mom and wife these days. We have two furbabies, a german shorthaired pointer named Missy and lab/pointer mix named Ellie. We have one child, James, who came to us by adoption and couldn't be a more perfect fit for our family.
We decided to start our family in Jan. 2007 and have been diagnosed with MFI. Two failed IVFs, several IUIs and miscarriage behind us we pursued adoption. We may have come to adoption through infertility but adoption is not our second choice or forced option. It took me some time to realize it but now I can't imagine building our family any other way except by adoption.
