Round 1
November 2011 - Finally hear God calling me to adoption; DH felt it a long time ago
December 2011 - Research and choose an agency
January 2012 - Complete pre application and application
February 2012 - Complete additional paperwork, agency training and online training
March 2012- Complete Homestudy and profile books
April 4, 2012 - We are officially a waiting family!
April 30 2012 - Got the call that we are chosen by a birthmom and birthfather, holy cow!
May 9, 2012 - First meeting with birthparents
May 29, 2012 - Second meeting with birthparents
July 5th, 2012 - Third meeting with birthparents and birth grandparents
July 20th, 2012- Sweet little J makes his arrival!
July 24, 2012 - We arrive home after 5 days in the hospital and bonding with birthfamily.
August 2, 2012 - First post placement visit with birthparents
August 12, 2012- Second post placement visit with birthparents
November 17, 2012 - Third post placement visit with birthparents
December 17, 2012 - Court hearing, finalization!

Round 2
December 2013 - Meeting with new adoption law firm
January 2014- completed paperwork and profile book
February 2014 - first homestudy meeting; profile is active
April 2014 - Completed homestudy and got chosen by a birthmom!
